This product is to unlock Desert Perpetual Gear Attunement. Unlock and select attunement for which gear piece or weapon you want and farm away for the perfect armor and weapons!

The Desert Perpetual Gear Attunement is unlocked by completion of two puzzles after clearing the normal and EPIC Desert Perpetual raids. Completion of the The Map And Territory Quest and Atlas and Almanac Quest are required to unlock the Desert Perpetual Gear Attunement.

Quests Needed for Desert Perpetual Gear Attunement:

The Atlas and Almanac Quest is obtained from interacting with the Simulant Ansible after your first completion of the EPIC Desert Perpetual Raid. You must have completed the Map And Territory Quest first.
The Map And Territory Quest is required to get the Atlas and Almanac Quest. If you already have the Envoy’s Togs Shader then you have completed this quest already. This quest requires a final boss clear to start and complete the puzzle only if you’ve never completed the raid.

We will complete one or both quests depending on what you’ve selected that you need to unlock Desert Perpetual Gear Attunement. Be sure to add boss clears if you’ve not cleared the normal raid before or need the Atlas and Almanac Quest.

Desert Perpetual Gear Attunement Rewards:

Select a weapon or armor piece you want a greatly increased chance of receiving when completing ANY Desert Perpetual Raid encounter.

Whirling Ovation Catalyst (Unconfirmed as of 9/30/2025):

In the 8/21/2025 This Week in Destiny Bungie said the Atlas and Almanac Quest would get you the Whirling Ovation Catalyst. So far we’ve seen mixed reports about receiving it and may be unlocked.
