Cull’s Shadow is a combination of a melee weapon and fusion rifle with the purpose of building and utilizing Soulfire Charges.

• Melee attacks and rapid melee hits help build Soulfire energy.
• Defeating enemies affected by Soulfire causes them to form Soulfire crystals.
• Destroying those crystals triggers powerful explosions that damage nearby enemies.
• The weapon also appears to poison or corrupt targets, similar to other Weapons of Sorrow. Players report that poisoned enemies take increased melee damage from Cull’s Shadow.

Here are the following Catalyst Traits for Cull’s Shadow Exotic:

• Soulfire Succor: Destroying soulfire crystals with this weapon’s frontal blades provides Soulfire Charges and partially reloads the magazine from reserves.
• Soulfire Rancor: Soulfire crystals expel potent corruption when destroyed and automatically detonate when a target is within close proximity.
• Soulfire Zeal: Nearby soulfire crystal detonations increase your damage resistance and movement speed while this weapon is equipped.
• Soulfire Skewer: Nearby soulfire crystal detonations cause this weapon’s frontal blades to inflict corruption.

These catalysts are tied to secrets and addition exotic missions such as the Oblation: Soulfed and Oblation: Immolation missions.
