Destiny 2’s Ash and Iron update reintroduced us to the Plaguelands from Destiny’s Rise of Iron update. The Conductor, Maya, attempts to storm the Golden Age facility and take its hidden and deactivated weapons as her own. Completion of this mission will get you the Wolfsbane Exotic Axe and let you wield the power of a relic in your everyday arsenal.

What To Expect with the Heliostat Exotic Mission:

The first completion of the mission is a default difficulty to obtain the weapon. Once the weapon is obtained we expect quests and puzzles to be unlocked. These puzzles are likely required to be done on high difficulty options to unlocks intrinsic traits, enhanced perks, and exotic catalyst like previous Exotic Missions.

We will update the product throughout the day and week when new puzzles, catalysts and more are discovered! We will have options focus on unlocking the weapon, individual runs of the Heliostat Exotic Mission, and options for the Wolfsbane Exotic Axe’s catalyst and intrinsic traits.

What is the Wolfsbane Exotic Axe?

A brand new exotic heavy weapon type from Heliostat Exotic Mission. This weapon mimics the power of relics used in story missions but imbued with nanite exotic perks to make you feel like a legendary unit from Destiny 1’s Rise of Iron expansion!

Resurgence Directive

Light attacks generate Sword energy and have the chance to spawn seeking Quicksilver nanites that heal the wielder upon attaching.

Nano-Assault:

Quicksilver nanites that attach to the wielder charge the blade. [Alternate Weapon Action] when fully charged to overclock the attached nanites, enhancing the blade’s offensive capabilities. Light attacks deal increased damage to targets; fully charged Heavy attacks create a flaming Quicksilver swarm-nado.
