Incisor (Adept) is an Adaptive frame Strand Trace Rifle with amazing perk pool selection. It is the FIRST Legendary Strand Trace Rifle. Since it is a Strand Trace Rifle, it goes in your Primary Weapon slot and allows you to make new weapon combinations for PvP and PvE.
The Incisor (Adept) is a Trace Rifle that can be great and PvP and AMAZING in PvE. The perk selection of this Trace Rifle and the fact that it is Strand opens up whole new builds. There are multiple new perks that can be paired with builds for niche content and end game content.
If you don’t have an amazing roll on a Grenade Launcher for Crucible this one has plenty of great rolls with Proximity Grenade options that will lead to quick and easy kills when Heavy ammo drops!
Incisor (Adept) God Roll for PvE
Here are some recommended perk combinations for using the Incisor (Adept) Trace Rifle in PvE. These perks are some that have been released with Lightfall and the new season.
Best Main Perk Combinations:
● Subsistence: Defeating targets partially reloads the magazine from reserves.(10% reload)
● Killing Tally: Kills increase this weapon’s damage until it is stowed or reloaded. (10%, 20% then 30% with each kill) This is a HUGE damage perk to have!
Other Great Perks:
● Slice: Casting your class ability allows this weapon to sever targets on hit for a brief duration, up to a maximum number of targets.
This perk refreshes each time you sever an enemy and it lasts for 8 seconds after using your class ability! This will reduce the damage the enemy you are fighting by 40%, keeping you alive in all late game content!
● Target Lock: Damage increases the longer this weapon remains on a target. This should be paired with Envious Assassin in Third Perk Slot as you will have a large amount of ammo in the clip and can focus the target with increased damage (Up to 40% increased damage)!
Incisor (Adept) God Roll for PvP
● Dynamic Sway Reduction: Improves accuracy and stability while continuously holding down the trigger. Since you will be laser beaming your targets from a decent range this perk is amazing for PvP. It will increase your stability and aim assist allowing you to hit your target and even the next target from longer ranges more easily.
● Encore: Final blows grant a stacking stability, range, and accuracy bonus to this weapon. Precision final blows grant more stacks. While Perks like Kill Clip or Target Lock may seem tempting, Encore fits the best with Special Weapon economy in PvP. Encore produces stacks on kills that aren’t as time limited as Kill Clip. Target Lock takes a lot of ammo to activate with Target Lock making it less ideal in PvP as well, but still usable.
When to Use the Incisor (Adept):
You can and should use this in any PvE scenario that requires careful positioning and medium and long range fighting. If you are a Warlock and combine this with the Cenotaph Mask Exotic for Trace Rifles you will pump out tons of ammo for your teammates as well as do great DPS. Most importantly this Trace Rifle can do a lot of the things you benefit from The Navigator but frees up your exotic slot for something more fun or more useful!
