Uzume God Roll / Suggested perks
Why is Uzume good in D2?
Uzume was introduced in Season of the Splicer as one of the three new weapons available in nightfalls for that season. Sniper rifles in Destiny have always been top tier for providing big damage from a reliable distance, as seem in meta staples like Succession and Tranquillity. Uzume is unique in that it provides a new dps option for a sniper rifle in the energy slot.
What is the Uzume god roll?
Uzume has come out as a top tier pick in both PvE and PvP with great rolls that make it excel in both. Being able to roll with perks like snapshot, triple tap, vorpal weapon and explosive rounds makes it a versatile option that can fit any play style and make it excel in any situation or game mode
Masterwork Options:
For Uzume you are looking for a few different masterwork options in particular. For any PvP rolls handling and range are the option that you want to chase after. A handling masterwork will make the weapon feel snappier and faster to use, meaning you can take engagements faster and a range masterwork increases the aim assist cone of the weapon, making it fell much stickier to use and headshots much easier to hit.
Uzume PvE perk roll options:
First Slot (Barrel): For PvE it really comes down to what you like your weapon to feel like. Generally we would recommend scopes like fluted barrel or arrowhead brake as they just make weapons feel much snappier and the range stat isn’t as important in PvE, especially when it comes to scout rifles.
Second Slot (Magazine): For the Uzume RR4 sniper rifle you are chasing a mag size increasing perk. Typically either appended mag or extended mag. Either of these options will increase your magazine size to 5; which, when combined with the backup mag mod takes your magazine size to 7.
Third Slot (Perk 1): Triple tap and clown cartridge are what you are chasing when it comes to perks in this column for PvE. Clown cartridge allows you to overload your magazine, granting you extra bullets. Triple tap is special in this column as with the 7 mag size that you can reach with backup mag and a mag perk you can shoot 10 bullets without reloading so long as you can land all crits
Fourth Slot(Perk 2): There isn’t as much to chase in this column. Vorpal weapon is always going to be good for helping to take down bigger health enemies and bosses. If you don’t get this perk High-Impact reserves and Explosive Rounds are also good options.
